National Identity Fraud Awareness Week is held each October to raise public awareness of identitycrime issues and the protective measure available to prevent identity fraud.
Since 2010 icon.pr has been working with global business machine manufacturer Fellowes to drive the campaign and raise awareness of identity fraud in Australia.
Utilising a combination of online communications, program ambassadors, media relations and events Icon has skillfully built Fellowes’ media profile and expanded public engagement with the issue of identity fraud.
icon.pr’s 2010 and 2011 campaigns have generated more than $1 million in equivalent media value. icon.pr looks forward to working with Fellowes on the 2012 NIDFAW campaign.
